Daniel Alterman, MD

Daniel M. Alterman, M.D.

is board certified by the American College of Surgeons. After graduating from East Carolina University School of Medicine, Dr. Alterman completed his General Surgery residency and Vascular Surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee. During his residency, Dr. Alterman volunteered for one year at a mission hospital in Kenya. He then went on to serve in the role of Chief Resident, wrote several research papers and received numerous awards. Dr. Alterman provides a full range of treatments for diseased arteries and veins using the latest minimally invasive techniques including carotid artery and aortic stenting. Dr. Alterman resides on the Lakeshore with his wife and two children.
